One of the beautiful things about marriage is the fusion of two families - that even if they come from somewhere completely different from one another, the blend just... sings. This couple brought together the big city and the big country in a way that makes sense, and also speaks to the unique spirit of the two love birds. Le sigh. I love weddings.

Tarina and Grant met while living in New York. They fell in love, and moved together to Chicago where Grant and his family live. Together they have made a life in the windy city and planned their wedding long distance, in Tarina's home town, with lots of help from Tarina's Mom. They were married in a farm setting at The Appel Inn that was unlike anything Grant's big city family had ever seen - it was a beautiful day filled with family and friends, bright colors and lots of sun.
